Johnson City Public Library was founded in 1895 by a group of civic minded women known as the Monday Reading Club “for the purpose of studying art, history and literature in general.” Through both traditional materials and emerging technologies, Johnson City Public Library offers a multitude of learning opportunities and entertainment choices in a dynamic center for the community.

The Johnson City Public Library will offer an analog black and white photography series, two Appalachian music series and two creative writing series.
