In partnership with AARP Minnesota, Pollen has released their second annual “50 Over 50” list, honoring 50 inspiring and accomplished leaders from across Minnesota who are not only challenging beliefs about aging, but making significant contributions to the local and national movements around ageism. There are honorees in five categories: Nonprofit, Arts, Business, Community and Disruption.
Ellen has been named the “Ageless Funder,” whose hard work and dedication at Aroha Philanthropies has led to significant contributions in the world of creative aging, not only in Minnesota, but all across America. You can read Ellen’s mention, and learn all about the other changemakers, here.
Additionally, there will be a celebration to recognize and honor the 2017 “50 Over 50” selected individuals on Tuesday, October 17th at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts (Mia). Tickets are available now: 50Over50.eventbrite.com.
